Please note that the Vanastra Recreation Centre pool (26 Toronto Blvd, Vanastra) will be temporarily closed on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 due to regular pool maintenance.
The fitness centre and sauna will remain open during the pool closure. The pool will reopen for regular hours on Thursday, November 20, 2025.

The Municipality of Huron East is reminding residents and visitors that overnight parking is strictly prohibited on all municipal streets and roads between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., from November 1 to April 15.
This seasonal restriction is in place to ensure safe and efficient snow removal operations during the winter months. Vehicles parked overnight may obstruct snowplows and pose safety hazards for both operators and the public.

At the October 7, 2025 Huron East Council meeting, Cleats for Beats SloPitch, in collaboration with the Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund and Huron-Perth Junior Farmers, generously donated an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to the Brussels Ball Diamond.
