The Municipality of Huron East is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Municipal Grants Program. This initiative supports local community organizations and volunteer groups that contribute to the well-being and quality of life of Huron East residents.
Building on the success of last year’s program, all available funds from the 2025 Municipal Grants Program were fully utilized, helping to deliver meaningful and impactful projects across the municipality.
The program offers two streams of funding:
Program Funding: Direct financial support for activities, events, or programs that provide immediate or near-term benefits to the community. This funding is not intended to cover regular operational expenses.
Program or Project In-Kind Assistance: Support through the reduction or full relief of municipal fees, rental charges, and/or permit/licensing costs for projects that promote broad community benefit.
Interested applicants must submit a completed Grant Application to the Director of Finance/Treasurer by Friday, October 31, 2025. Applications can be sent via email to treasurer@huroneast.com or by mail to:
