Community Funding
The Municipality of Huron East provides funding support to eligible community organizations, events, and initiatives that benefit residents across the municipality.
Following Council approval of the Municipal Grant Policy (FIN‑09) on April 14, 2026, updates to the Community Grant Program will take effect for the 2027 budget year.

2027 program updates
- No set deadline and no application form.
- Requests may be submitted at any time and are reviewed on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
- Requests are subject to available funds, eligibility requirements, and the annual budget.
- Annual budget: $5,000 total, to a maximum of $1,000 per request.
Submit requests early as funding may be fully allocated before year‑end.
Request process
Requests must be presented to Council as a delegation. To be scheduled on a Council agenda, complete and submit the Delegation Request Form.

Consistent Grant Funding through the Municipal Budget
To support long‑term planning and reduce administrative requirements, Council has approved consistent grant funding for several long‑standing organizations through the municipal operating budget.
Other Community Grant requests
Community organizations seeking event‑based, project‑specific, or one‑time funding can request consideration through the Community Grant Program.
To request consideration, follow the request process above and submit the Delegation Request Form.
