TAKE NOTICE that Council of the Municipality of Huron East will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 6:00 pm in the Huron East Council Chambers, 72 Main Street, Seaforth, to consider a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment under Section 34 of the Planning Act, RSO 1990, as amended. Public Bulk Recycling Bin Service Discontinued at Key Brussels Locations
The Municipality of Huron East has discontinued the public bulk recycling bin service at several locations in Brussels due to ongoing misuse. The affected bin locations include:
One bin at the Municipal Parking Lot on Elizabeth Street (behind the car wash)
One bin beside JR's Restaurant, 390 Turnberry Street
Five bins at the Public Works Yard, 240 Turnberry Street

Upcoming Drainage Improvements in Munn's Bush Area
Huron East, ON – May 23, 2025 – The Municipality of Huron East Public Works Department will be undertaking important drainage improvement work in the Munn's Bush area from Monday, June 9 through Friday, June 13, 2025.
As part of this project, the Munn's Bush trail will be closed to the public for the duration of the work to ensure the safety of both workers and trail users.
