Vanastra Early Childhood Learning Centre (VECLC)
Established in 1975, the Vanastra Early Childhood Learning Centre (formally known as the Tuckersmith Day Nursery), is operated by the Municipality of Huron East and licensed with the Ministry of Education. The VECLC offers quality childcare with Registered Early Childhood Educators. It has an emergent curriculum that encourages learning through play. The facility has access to a large indoor gym and swimming pool.

| The VECLC accommodates 42 children (16 months - 4 years) and 20 school-aged children (4-12 years) for Before and After School programs and on school holidays. |
