Projects & Initiatives 

The Municipality of Huron East oversees a wide range of projects every year.  View the list of projects below to learn more about our current initiatives.

Brussels - Reconstruction of Princess Street

The Municipality will begin reconstruction of Princess Street will begin in September 2022.  

Construction will include: 

  • watermain and storm sewer replacement
  • new curbs, sidewalks, and asphalt 
  • elimination of the sidewalk on the east side of the street

A Public Consultation meeting will take place on August 25, 2022 from 5pm to 7pm at the Brussels Fire Hall.  

Affected property owners are encouraged to attend to learn more about the complete reconstruction plan and to express any concerns.
