The Municipality of Huron East can truly claim to be a community of communities. Within it boundaries are the amalgamated former Townships of Grey, McKillop and Tuckersmith, and the Town of Seaforth and Village of Brussels, as well as more than 30 small hamlets each with their own unique history.
Immerse yourself in history by visiting one of our historic downtowns, taking a self-guided tour of a former Top-Secret Air Force Base in Vanastra, or touring an excellent example of a Georgian country manor house dating back to the 19th century in Egmondville.

Huron East is also home to two 19th century streetscapes still in existence in Ontario, in the Village of Brussels, and the Town of Seaforth.
