Attracting and Retaining Workers can be Difficult – Business Owners are Invited to Share Their Insights
Businesses across rural Ontario are confronted with challenges and opportunities in attracting and retaining workers. On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, Huron East will welcome researchers from the University of Guelph's School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, to Seaforth to speak with businesses to better understand these local issues related to attracting and retaining workers. All businesses are invited to share their perspectives in a brief 5 minute discussion. Researchers will pop into businesses in the community to collect insights. In the late fall, a brief report highlighting information collected will be shared. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact Paul Sitsofe (psitsofe@uoguelph.ca) or Ryan Gibson (gibsonr@uoguelph.ca). To learn more about this initiative visit //www.ruraldev.ca/lsna/.
