As we enter the warmer months, the Municipality of Huron East is encouraging all residents to be mindful of their outdoor water usage to help reduce strain on the municipal water system and promote responsible water conservation practices.
From May 1 to October 31, water usage typically increases due to outdoor activities such as lawn watering, car washing, and pool filling. To ensure a sustainable supply for all residents and to maintain the integrity of the system, we are requesting the cooperation of residents in the communities of Brucefield, Brussels, Egmondville, Seaforth, and Vanastra.
To help manage demand, please follow these guidelines:
Even-numbered addresses may water on even-numbered calendar days
Odd-numbered addresses may water on odd-numbered calendar days
Watering is permitted only during the following hours:
7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
These measures help ensure that all residents have access to a reliable and safe water supply throughout the summer season.
We appreciate your cooperation and commitment to water conservation in our community.
