Public Bulk Recycling Bin Service Discontinued at Key Brussels Locations

The Municipality of Huron East has discontinued the public bulk recycling bin service at several locations in Brussels due to ongoing misuse. The affected bin locations include:

• One bin at the Municipal Parking Lot on Elizabeth Street (behind the car wash)

• One bin beside JR's Restaurant, 390 Turnberry Street

• Five bins at the Public Works Yard, 240 Turnberry Street

Residents are encouraged to dispose of bulk recyclables at the Morris-Turnberry Landfill, located at 85047 Clyde Line, open during these hours:

• Wednesdays: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Please be advised that unauthorized dumping is prohibited and may lead to fines under municipal by-laws.
