At the October 7, 2025 Huron East Council meeting, Cleats for Beats SloPitch, in collaboration with the Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund and Huron-Perth Junior Farmers, generously donated an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to the Brussels Ball Diamond.
This life-saving device will be installed at the facility to help ensure the health and safety of players, families, and visitors during recreational activities.
“We are incredibly grateful to Cleats for Beats SloPitch and their partners for this meaningful contribution,” says Lissa Berard, Director of Community Service. “The AED is a vital addition to our recreational infrastructure and a testament to the strength of community spirit and commitment to safety.”
The Municipality of Huron East extends heartfelt thanks to all involved in this initiative, recognizing the importance of proactive health measures in building a safer and more resilient community.
