2025 Community Improvement Program Grants Awarded

The Municipality of Huron East has officially announced the recipients of its 2025 Community Improvement Program grants, marking a significant step in supporting local revitalization and development efforts. The successful applications and corresponding projects were announced during the Council meeting held on May 13, 2025.

The Community Improvement Plan, adopted by Council on February 20, 2024, aims to leverage private investment to promote revitalization, redevelopment, and enhancement by providing financial incentives to projects within a defined Community Improvement Project Area. This year's program offers grants across several categories, including façade, signage, and accessibility improvements; agri-business innovation; and the conversion or expansion of vacant and underutilized properties.

The 2025 grant recipients represent a diverse group of local businesses and property owners committed to removing barriers and enhancing the municipality's economic and aesthetic landscape.
