Upcoming Road Closures on Canada Company Road

June 4, 2024:

The Municipality of Huron East will be undertaking two bridge repairs on Canada Company Road, between County Road 12 and Maple Line. As a result, sections of the road will be closed as follows:

M-28 Repair:

Canada Company Road will be closed from County Road 12 to Hensall Road from June 10th to July 12th.

M-13 Repair:

Canada Company Road will be closed from Hensall Road to Maple Line from July 22nd to September 6th.

Please plan your travel accordingly and follow the posted detour signs....

$20,800 Ontario Government Grant Creates a Splash for the Municipality of Huron East

Vanastra, ON: MPP Lisa Thompson was at the Vanastra Recreation Centre to formally congratulate representatives from the Municipality of Huron East on the work happening as a result of receiving a $20,800 Resilient Communities Fund grant in 2023. The two-year long grant from the provincial governments Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) is being used to help the municipality with the Junior Lifeguard Club program for youths ages 10-14.
