Municipality of Huron East launches redesigned website

The Municipality of Huron East is excited to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website, featuring a clean, modern look and improved functionality. The updated design incorporates the municipality’s refreshed branding introduced in November 2024 as part of the Huron East Strategic Plan approved by Council.

In July 2025, the municipality promoted public engagement to gather feedback aimed at enhancing residents' online experience using surveys and navigation testing to develop the new website.

Key features of the updated website include a mobile-friendly design and enhanced search capabilities making it easier for all residents to stay informed and connected.

“Our goal is to ensure that residents have easy access to the information they need, promoting an open and engaged community,” says Jessica Rudy, Chief Administrative Officer. “We believe that by providing a user-friendly platform, we can enhance communication and better serve the needs of our residents.”

Additionally, the website includes a ‘What’s Happening in Huron East’ webpage. A one-stop resource highlighting frequently accessed content allowing users to quickly locate information, from local news and events to municipal services and community programs in one location.

Residents are encouraged to explore the new website and provide feedback as the municipality continues to refine and enhance the platform. The commitment to ongoing improvement ensures that the website will evolve in response to community needs, fostering a dynamic and responsive digital environment.
