The Made Here in Huron East video series continues to build momentum as it highlights the innovation, skill, and economic impact of local manufacturers across the municipality. Since launching, the series has been widely embraced by residents, businesses, and regional partners, helping strengthen community pride and deepen awareness of the diverse products made in Huron East.
The series’ growing popularity reflects both the strength of Huron East’s manufacturing sector and the public’s appetite for stories that celebrate homegrown success. Through cinematic storytelling and on-site interviews, Made Here in Huron East offers viewers a rare behind-the-scenes look at the people, processes, and passion driving some of the region’s most impactful companies.
The newest episode features Actium Resources Ltd., a standout manufacturer known for its advanced expertise and commitment to quality. The episode highlights how Actium continues to innovate while contributing to the local economy and providing meaningful employment opportunities within the community.
Huron East is also proud to share that Made Here in Huron East has been named a finalist for the 2025 EDCO Awards of Excellence in the category of Excellence in Rural Economic Development. The EDCO Awards recognize outstanding economic development initiatives across Ontario. Winners will be announced on February 4, 2026. All released episodes of the series are available to view on the Municipality of Huron East’s YouTube channel. Episode 10 is set to release in February 2026.
