Huron East residents invited to help name a new street in Brussels

The Municipality of Huron East is inviting residents to help choose the name of a new street in Brussels.

The new street will be located within the new subdivision in the southeast corner of Brussels, near the Brussels, Morris & Grey Community Centre. Residents are encouraged to review the proposed street name options and vote for their favourite.

Voting is open until Thursday, July 16 at 12 p.m. (noon) online at www.huroneast.com/NameThatStreet.

Community input will help guide the final street name selection and give residents the opportunity to be part of shaping a new area of Brussels.

“Street names become part of a community’s identity and history,” says Shawn Bromley, Director of Public Works. “This is an opportunity for residents to have a direct role in naming a new street in Brussels and help shape the future of this growing neighbourhood.”

Following the voting period, the results will be shared with Huron East Council for consideration before a final street name is selected.

Residents can review the proposed names and cast their vote online at www.huroneast.com/NameThatStreet.
