Huron East Town Hall closing January 19 at 12:00 p.m. due to inclement weather

Please note that the Municipality of Huron East Town Hall (72 Main St. S) will be closing at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Monday, January 19, 2026 due to inclement weather.

Staff will still be available to assist via phone and email during this closure and Town Hall will reopen once weather conditions improve and it is safe for staff to safely access the facility.

Winter maintenance operations will proceed as normal.

Please note that the following facilities will be closing today (Monday, January 19, 2026) due to inclement weather:

  • Brussels, Morris & Grey Community Centre (BMG): Closing at 3:30 p.m.

  • Vanastra Recreation Centre (VRC): Closed

  • Vanastra Daycare Centre: Closing at 3:00 p.m.

  • Seaforth & District Community Centre (SDCC): Closing at 4:00 p.m.

These facilities are expected to reopen once weather and road conditions improve and pending staff’s ability to safely access the facilities.

  • Brussels, Morris & Grey Community Centre (BMG): CLOSED
  • Vanastra Recreation Centre (VRC): CLOSED
  • Vanastra Daycare Centre: CLOSED
  • Seaforth & District Community Centre (SDCC): Closing at 4 PM

These facilities are expected to reopen once weather and road conditions improve and pending staff’s ability to safely access the facilities.
