Huron East ends Significant Weather event January 3, 2026

UPDATE (January 3, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.)

Our Significant Weather event declared on December 29, 2025 has now ended.

The roads and sidewalks are now being cleared and maintained according to provincial standards.

A big shout out to the winter maintenance operators for their hard work and dedication in keeping our roads safe during this time!

Municipality of Huron East is ending its Significant Weather Event that was declared on December 29, 2025, effective immediately.

This decision comes as weather conditions have notably improved, allowing for the resumption of road and sidewalk maintenance to meet provincial standards.
