Beat the heat: cooling locations available in Huron East
Residents looking for relief from the current heat warning can access a number of cooling locations and amenities throughout Huron East. Please note that some facilities may operate on modified schedules or be closed on Canada Day. Residents are encouraged to confirm facility hours before visiting.
- Seaforth and District Community Centre (SDCC): open Monday to Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; Friday 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.; closed Saturday and Sunday; closed July 1
- Brussels, Morris and Grey Community Centre (BMGCC): Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., closed July 1
- Vanastra Recreation Centre (VRC): open Monday 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday, Wednesday 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; closed Sunday; closed July 1
