The following guidelines apply to the official Facebook and Instagram pages of the Municipality of Huron East. Our goal is to share information of public interest with residents, businesses, and visitors. Here, you’ll find the latest news, updates, photos, and videos from across our community.
We value the opportunity for dialogue that this platform provides. While our Facebook and Instagram pages are an open forum, they are also a family‑friendly space. To help ensure respectful and productive engagement, we ask that all visitors follow the guidelines below.

Posting guidelines

Huron East reserves the right to remove any comments that include profanity, personal attacks, or content that is discriminatory, slanderous, or obscene. Comments should remain relevant to the topic being discussed.
The following are not permitted:
  • Graphic, obscene, explicit, or racist comments
  • Abusive, hateful, or defamatory remarks toward any individual or organization
  • Posts that advertise or solicit on behalf of commercial entities, products, political organizations, or candidates (charitable events excluded)
  • Comments that encourage or suggest illegal activity
  • Posts from anonymous or fake accounts
  • Comments containing misinformation or disinformation
We reserve the right to delete any post, and block any user, who does not follow these rules.
