Conflict of Interest Registry
Section 5.1 of the the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act requires that any member of Council that has a direct or indirect interest in a matter before Council, in which they are present, to file a written statement of the interest and its general nature with the Clerk, which is to be publicly available.
Registry
As per Section 6.1(1) of the Act, every municipality shall establish and maintain a registry. As per 6.1(2), the registry shall be available for public inspection in the manner and during the time the municipality may determine.
