Council meetings can be watched in person at the Municipality of Huron East Municipal Office, streamed live, or viewed at a later date by accessing the recording. Agendas and Minutes are available through the Council Calendar.

Council meetings

The 2025 Council meeting calendar confirms the schedule for the year. Council meetings are held the first and third Tuesday of every month, with some exceptions, at 6:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Council Chambers. All meetings, unless exempted through the Municipal Act, are open to the general public for viewing purposes.  If you wish to speak before Council you must submit a delegation request form.  

Council meetings are live streamed and archived for future viewing on our municipal YouTube channel.

Council agendas and the last meetings minutes are released the Friday before the meeting, by 4:00 p.m.  and are available through the Council Calendar.

Committee meetings

Similar to Council meetings, all Committee meetings are open to the general public for viewing purposes, unless exempted under the Municipal Act, and are generally held at Town Hall, unless otherwise posted on the agenda. 

Committee meetings are generally held on an ad-hoc basis, at the call of Chair.  Agendas are generally released the Friday before the meeting, or in some cases two days prior to the meeting.  Minutes are released with the Council agenda when they are ready for approval.  Agendas and minutes are available through the Council Calendar.
