Here are some highlights from the Tuesday, December 9, 2025 Council meeting:
  1. A presentation for Huron East Employee Recognition Awards for Years of Service.
  2. Public meeting regarding Zoning By-law Amendment Z03-2025 –Anderson Drive, Brussels was presented with a Council request to defer until the sale of property.
  3. Planning recommendation regarding C32-2025 – Cranbrook Road was approved by Council.
  4. Engineer’s Report for the Rehorst Municipal Drain was accepted by Council.
  5. Fraser Municipal Drain “Minor Improvement Request” was approved by Council.
  6. 2026 Huron County Annual Accessibility Plan was adopted.
  7. Renewal of the Services Agreement for a Dog Catcher with the Municipalities of Central Huron and Morris-Turnberry was approved by Council.
  8. Council passed the 2026 Fees and Charges By-Law.
  9. Live Barn agreement has been initiated for SDCC and BMGCC.
