It’s a Banner Day for Seaforth……..

Entering Seaforth on Highway 8, also known as Goderich Street within town limits, has always been enticing with its canopy of shade trees welcoming travellers to its history, culture, comfortable residences and progressive businesses district. However, to enhance the experience, a splash of brilliant colours has now been added to this well-travelled thoroughfare with the recent placement of sixteen beautiful banners.

Banner PhotosCelebrating the community’s past and its diversity, striking new artwork is once again mounted on its light standards—extending an invitation to stay awhile, relax in its green spaces, visit its shops or stroll through the stunning 19th-century architecture of Seaforth’s designated heritage business district just off Goderich Street.

Much like the first banner series installed 6 years ago, this project was financially supported by the Huron East-Seaforth Community Development Trust and the Municipality of Huron East. On the visual side of things, the banners were creatively designed by Iain Fletcher of Artech Signs & Graphics incorporating the striking photography of Lynne Moreland.
